Best Practices for online Merchants who want to sell to Canadians

Well we at CanBuy.ca have been trying hard to get the message out to online merchants that Canadians would love to do more online shopping but there are still many barriers in the way... Many merchants either take Canadian shoppers for granted or ignore us completely. We are trying but it is an up hill battle.

To make the message a little clearer, we have created a Best Practices page to inform merchants about what is standing between them and Canadians shopping online. Let's face it, most of these merchants are American and with their economy heading south faster than a Canadian retired couple (sorry Canadian retired couples but you know it's true) they are looking around for new markets. This could be great for we Canadians! If you find something that you like at an American online store, why not send them a quick email to request that they extend their free shipping deal to us Canadians or knock a little bit off the the price? Over time they will see that we are a great market and - well - American merchants will start marketing to us...

Feel free to direct them to our Best Practices page - they are sure to learn something!
